Young Entrepreneurs Business Week offers opportunities to partner, engage and make a profound impact in the community.

Professional Leadership

To help students succeed, YEBW relies on established business professionals to help coach and cultivate our next generation of leaders. Entrepreneurs, executives and employees can get involved in the following ways:

  • Speakers – Accomplished entrepreneurs and senior executives can share their business stories and inspire students as keynote speakers, workshop presenters or panelists. The time commitment is only a few hours.
  • Judges – Business and community leaders can provide essential feedback on student presentation content and public speaking skills. This is only a half-day or full-day commitment, offered toward the end of each YEBW event.
  • Company Advisors – Experienced managers or team leaders can excel as advisors, coaches and mentors for student-run companies. This professionally-rewarding opportunity is ideal for employees with strong leadership skills or potential. This is a one-week time commitment.
  • Board Members – Executive leaders and business owners can contribute to the organization’s strategic vision, goals and direction. This time commitment accumulates to a few weeks per year.

Sponsors

Student Sponsorship

The YEBW experience should be available to all students—regardless of their financial circumstances. For families that cannot afford to pay, sponsored scholarships make it possible for students to attend Business Week, Investing Week and Entrepreneur Week.

When you sponsor, you can select students from specific schools, districts, programs or organizations. YEBW also reserves scholarships for students from low-income households or underserved communities in Oregon.

Your contribution makes a huge impact in the lives of students who might not have had past opportunities to excel academically.

Family Involvement

If you have children or other family members who are in high school, don’t let them miss the opportunity at YEBW. Students come away from the week with confidence, academic credit and career direction. As a sponsor, your employees also receive financial incentives on YEBW tuition for their children.

Talent Acquisition

YEBW students are ambitious and eager to earn work experience with corporate partners. If you have internships or job shadow opportunities at your office, you can recruit interns from YEBW’s pool of talented alumni.

Financial Investment

When you invest in YEBW, you support student and volunteer outreach across Oregon. Your contribution makes it possible to reach the communities and schools that need this program the most.

Not all students have an equal chance to succeed… For many, YEBW is that opportunity.

This program empowers those who are motivated and willing to work hard… For some, it is that lightbulb moment when they realize who they are and what they want to do in life.

If you have ever thought, “I wish I had a program like this when I was that age,” there is no better investment.
